Fika has gone over the rainbow 
Between Christmas and New Year Julie made the very difficult decision that it was Fikas's time.
On a beautiful sunny day she passed on - peacefully and quite - in a sunbeam shining through the window.
We will always remember this beautiful, very special girl, who was loved so much
by so many for 12½ years.
Fika has had a great impact on Kennel Hazinas breading. She had 3 litter - 2010: Hazinas 5th and 2012: 6th,
and in 2014: The Kougar litter. 32 children in total and over 100 grandchildren.
Fika lives on in the hearts of her children and grandchildren all around.
She will be found in many pedigrees in the future and thereby contribute to our future Ridgebacks.

I will never forget her. She was so special, fantastic and wonderful.

Result: 1st Prize and best tracking dog of the day and a Cup to prove it!

Zibu's comeback in the show ring - 11½ year old!
Rostock Int. + CAC Karlslunde + CAC Billund + CAC Slagelse
At all four shows Zibu went Excellent and 2nd best Female Veteran.
I am so greatful that Zibu has recovered so well after her horible traffic accident,
where I thought I was going to loose her. It is truly a miracle.

After three Dermoid Sinus checks on Hazinas 5th litter, still no sinus found!!!
Breeding by Hazinas - Status so far:
3 generations - 5 litters - 33 pups - NO DERMOID SINUS!
With Hazinas you can feel safe!
We sell our puppies primarily as family dogs. We, therefore, put good temper and good nature - together with good health - at the top of our list. The reason for this is, that regardless if you want a family dog, a utility dog, a dog for hunting, obedience or rescue work, a gard dog, a show dog, or a dog for breeding, the dog must first of all be able to function 100 percent as a good natured family dog. It is, therefore, vital that temper - together with health - is in focus regardig breeding of Ridgebacks in modern society today. "Hazinas" is not just a kennel name, it is also a guarantee label. We like to follow all of our offspring and we are available around the clock, should our puppy buyers need our help or advice at any time.
Temperament and health at Hazinas
We do not compromise with temperament and health in our breeding. Even though you regard your own dog as the best dog in the world and it may have obtained excellent results in the show ring, it is no excuse to use the dog for breeding, if it is aggressive and bad tempered. However, if your dog is very good natured and has no aggression, it would still be a bad idea to use the dog for breeding if there is a lot of illness amongst its ancestores or siblings (e.g. Dermoid Sinus, Hip Displasia or Elbow Arthritise). We have to accept isolated cases of bad health, but if there are repeated cases of a decease we breeders must act responsibly. Regarding health, Hazinas puts in a lot of effort to find healthy, well balanced and kind stud dogs with the best nature for our females, and we have obtained very good results indeed. Furthermore we are very proud to say that throughout our breeding we have had no cases of Dermoid Sinus, a genetic, autosomal skin condition in dogs which unfortunately is seen too often in RR-litters.
